Boet, you seem pretty savey. Do you have any linux skills? If so, or even if you don't no time like the present :)

Get yourself a linux live CD and hit that XP box with a password recovery tool (hack the crap out of it). Even though the PC orininally was on a domain in an office, it's no longer authenticating on the Domain Controller..that little password's there, somethere.. google it and find that live cd :)</description>
