The price is quite steep, and we’re looking at a phone that is 2.5G at launch - so that’s basically GPRS/EDGE, i.e. super snooze internet access.
Apple is coming to the market very late and hoping that their brand power will be able to carry the phone (which is unfortunately working). Looking at the mobile market in Asia, the technology available there is astounding, but no one ever hears about it because we’d rather play with something pretty than useful.
